Instant-View® Benzodiazepine Urine Drug Test 
The Instant-View® Benzodiazepine urine drug test is a one-step, lateral flow test designed to qualitatively identify benzodiazepine abuse by detecting oxazepam in human urine at a cut-off level of 300 ng/ml. The accuracy rate for this test is >99%. This analyte is US FDA Cleared, CE Marked and is available in some OTC Cleared/CLIA-Waived formats.
Benzodiazepines are sedative, hypnotic and anti-anxiety drugs commonly used as tranquilizers. Most are detectable for 1-2 days; Oxazepam, a common metabolite of many benzodiazepines, may remain detectable in urine for up to one week. Therefore, oxazepam is a useful marker of benzodiazepine abuse. The Instant-View® Benzodiazepine urine drug test is intended for use by healthcare professionals only and provides preliminary screening results. It is recommended that a more specific chemical method (i.e. GC/MS) be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result.
