Instant-View® Cocaine Urine Drug Test

The Instant-View® Cocaine urine drug test is a rapid, lateral flow diagnostic test intended to evaluate the usage of cocaine by detecting benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, in human urine at a cut-off level of 300 ng/ml. The accuracy rate of this test is >97.8%. This test is US FDA Cleared, CE Marked and is available in some OTC Cleared/CLIA-Waived formats.

Cocaine is a nervous system stimulant that may appear in the urine for only a few hours after use; therefore, the Instant-View® Cocaine urine drug test is designed to detect benzoylecgonine, a hydrolytic degradation product of cocaine, which may be detectable in urine for over two days after the use of cocaine. The test is for use by healthcare professionals only and provides only a qualitative screening test result. A more specific chemical method (i.e. GC/MS) should be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result.
