Instant-View® Ketamine Urine Test
The Instant-View® Ketamine urine drug tests is a rapid, lateral flow in-vitro diagnostic test designed to detect ketamine in human urine at a cut-off level of 1000 ng/mL. This analyte is currently available for export only.
Ketamine is a general anesthetic medicine marketed under the name Ketalar®. It is also sold as a veterinary product under various names including Ketajet®, Ketaset®, and Vetalar®. Known as a party drug Ketamine is abused by many young adults. The pharmacological and behavioral effects of ketamine are similar to phencyclidine (PCP). The Instant-View® Ketamine urine drug test is intended for healthcare professional use and provides preliminary screening results. A more specific chemical method (i.e. GC/MS) should be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result.
