The Instant-View® MDMA (Ecstasy) urine drug test is a one-step, lateral flow test designed to detect methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA, Ecstasy or XTC) in human urine at a cut-off level of 500 ng/ml. The accuracy rate for this test is 98%. This analyte is US FDA Cleared, CE Marked, and is available in some OTC Cleared/CLIA-Waived formats.

MDMA (Ecstasy) is a stimulant with hallucinogenic tendencies, described as an empathogen as it releases mood-altering chemicals in the brain and may generate feelings of love and friendliness. MDMA belongs to the family of man-made drugs and shares an amphetamine-like effect. MDMA (Ecstasy) is detectable in human urine for up to 3 days after use. The Instant-View® MDMA (Ecstasy) urine drug test provides qualitative screening results and is for use by healthcare professionals only. It is recommended that a more specific alternate chemical method (i.e. GC/MS) be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result.
