Instant-View® Methadone Urine Drug Test
The Instant-View® Methadone urine drug test is a rapid, lateral flow immunoassay intended to detect methadone in human urine at a cut-off level of 300 ng/ml. Its accuracy rate is >99%. This test is US FDA Cleared, CE Marked and is available in some OTC Cleared/CLIA-Waived formats.
Methadone is similar to morphine; however, methadone produces marked sedative effects with repeated administration as a result of drug accumulation. Methadone can be detected in human urine for up to 14 days after use. The Instant-View® Methadone urine drug test provides qualitative screening results and is for use by healthcare professionals only. It is recommended that a more specific chemical method (i.e. GC/MS) must be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result.
