Instant-View® Metamphetamine Urine Drug Test

The Instant-View® Methamphetamine urine drug test is a rapid, lateral flow diagnostic test intended to identify methamphetamine in human urine at a cut-off level of 1000 ng/ml. The accuracy of this test is >95.2%. This analyte is US FDA Cleared, CE Marked and is available in some OTC Cleared/CLIA-Waived formats.

Methamphetamine is a potent sympathomimetic agent, central nervous system stimulating drug that is detectable in human urine for up to three days. The test is designed for use by healthcare professionals and only provides a qualitative screening test result. It is recommended that a more specific chemical method (i.e. GC/MS) be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result.

A stimulant drug that is very rarely prescribed, but a stereoisomer form of mAMP is used in Vick’s inhalers. Made illegally from pseudoe-phedrine (commonly found in decongestant/ antihistamine products i.e. Sudafed).	Tina, Christina, tweak, speed, glass, quartz, uppers	Metabolites of ephedrine, ranitidine (Zantac) and MDMA. Therapeutic agents such as benzphetamine metabolize to meth­amphetamine and amphetamine in the body and produce positive test results. Note amphetamine is a metabolite of methamphetamine, and will appear in the urine a person who has taken methamphetamine.
