Instant-View® hCG Pregnancy Urine and Urine/Serum Tests

The Instant-View® Pregnancy tests are qualitative immunoassays for the detection of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in human urine or urine/serum for the early detection of pregnancy. Having a sensitivity of 25 mIU/mL the Instant-View® tests can detect pregnancy as early as the first day of a missed period and are >99% accurate.

hCG is a hormone produced by the placenta, which, in normal subjects, provides an early indication of pregnancy. The Instant-View® Pregnancy tests provide qualitative screening results. Available in formats that are for heathcare professional use or Over-The Counter (OTC) sale, it is recommended that a more specific alternate chemical method be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result.
