Instant-View® HCV (Hepatitis C) Serum Test

The Instant-View® Hepatitis C serum test is a rapid, qualitative test for the detection of antibody specific to Hepatitis C virus (HCV) in human serum. The Hepatitis C virus is a small, enveloped single, stranded RNA virus. This is the major cause of parentally transmitted non-A, non-B hepatitis. In the Instant-View® HCV test, HCV antibodies are detected using recombinant HCV proteins consisting of critical regions of HCV viruses including core, NS-3, NS-4 and NS-5. The test is for healthcare professional use only and is available in cassette and dip strip formats. This product is available for export only.
