Instant View® Buprenorphine / Norbuprenorphine Drug of Abuse Test is now available for sale in the U.S. It is a rapid immunoassay intended for professional use to detect buprenorphine and its metabolite norbuprenorphine in human urine at a cutoff level of 10 ng/ml. Its accuracy is 97.3%. The results can be read from 4 to 7 minutes. The test is FDA 510k cleared for sale in the U.S. Buprenorphine is an analgesic drug that may be used as a heroin substitute and in detoxification treatment.
