How fast are results available?
Results using the SplitScreen urine drug testing cups are available in as little as 4-7 minutes. You can rapidly obtain results to inform your client, and be able to immediately implement a plan of care. There is no need to wait on the lab to provide results, or call a donor back with their instructions.
How should the kits be stored?
The kits can be conveniently stored at room temperature until the expiration date printed on the label. Urine samples can be stored for varying amounts of time, depending on where it is kept:
- 8 hours at room temperature
- 3 days when refrigerated
- Prolonged storage at -20°C or lower
How will I know if the test worked properly?
Every Instant-view™ test has a built in control line (C), which should appear when the test is used. If the control line does not appear, the test should be repeated with a different testing cup.
How do I interpret the results?
The test should be read between 4 and 7 minutes. Please discard the test after the 7-minute mark.
